Rodney's mate Jevon was in The Nags Head when him and Mickey Pearce tried to convince Rodney that Nerys Samson likes hard men, ones with vibe. Rodney then left and their other friend Chris arrived and Jevon and Mickey were laughing, saying they fooled Rodney into thinking Nerys likes tough men. Chris asked "What? Nervous Nerys"? Jevon and Mickey then placed a bet with Rodney to dance with a girl they know of in a local nightclub. That girl was posh Cassandra Parry. Rodney won the bet and danced with her and they soon were dating.
In early 1989, Jevon and Mickey took some phones off the notorious Driscoll Brothers. Del Boy took 100 of them and when the Driscolls found out, they beat Jevon and Mickey up as they thought they were conning them.
In 1989, Jevon went to the beano to Margate with the lads from The Nags Head. On the journey, Jevon tried to wind up grump old sailor Albert Trotter and Albert threatened to clump Jevon for it. Jevon laughed. That day the coach blew up due to a dodgy radio Del sold them. Jevon was due to meet a girl at 9pm that night after they were supposed to arrive back in London but as there was a rail strike and no buses, they all had to spend the night in Margate. Jevon's date was cancelled and him, Denzel and Mickey booked into a nice B&B.
Jevon was not seen again in the show after The Jolly Boys Outing (25th December 1989).
Jevon was mentioned in He Ain't Heavy, He's My Uncle (27th January 1991). In The Nags Head, Rodney said to Del that he was going round Jevons. Later in the episode Rodney said he was on his way home from Jevon's when he saw his great uncle Albert laying on the floor after being allegedly mugged, when in reality it was a fight over a woman with an old school enemy.
